The Upanishads. A sketchnote

A summary of the BBC In Our Time program on The Upanishads, sacred Hindu text written down around 700 BCE covering religious themes from reincarnation, to the cosmos and immortality, in a mix of poetry, prose, and dialogue form.

Design & process

I used the tree branching design as a visual metaphor for the interconnected themes of the Upanishads.

To put this sketchnote together, I followed the same process as for my plankton sketchnote, using Miro to put the content together and DALL·E 3 for the illustrations.
